Change learning parameters
The learning parameters of the current account can be set in the "Settings" menu.
The learning parameters are set so that the learning efficiency is optimal for a majority of users. However, if you want to adapt your personal learning style, for example if you want to learn at a higher speed and with a higher number of vocabulary, you can adjust the parameters here.
One to two sessions of 10 to 15 minutes each per day are ideal for each learning unit that you are currently working on. For children, a learning unit should last less than 10 minutes.
In order to get the vocabulary into long-term memory efficiently, it has to be repeated at increasing intervals.
If the spaced repetition rate (SSR) is less than 10, the intervals are shortened, which shortens the learning time, but the words may not be remembered in the long term. If the spaced repetition rate (SSR) is greater than 10, the learning process takes longer, but it is easier to remember.
If you have too many new words in the learning process, you feel overwhelmed. Too few new words can get boring.
In the case of completely new or exotic languages, the number of new words can be set very low, especially at the beginning.
